2022 - INTERVENTION
PPPP is a public intervention encouraging dialogue around water through cooperation and collaboration - participants are invited to bring to life puzzles of swimming pools.
PPPP was developed during a research residency with the Ch[a]rita program, QANAT, Marrakech (2022).
Luxury hotels have known how best to use the Palm grove of Marrakech as a backdrop this oasis is the ultimate dreamscape, a fertile spot of land that offers sanctuary, protection, salvation, delight, magic - a place where our ultimate fantasies can run free- they embody opulence and have perfected the aesthetics of abundance to create paradise-like settings.
Within the terracotta walls of these 5-star institutions, the lush and ever-blossoming systems are indisputable, however, the areas outside of the walls equal palm grove atrophy - What are the costs of maintaining this opulent image?
